• Horse riding (pony ride) – we have 10 horses, one being a pony. Some of our horses are a household name having worn races and some play polo professionally. Guess what, they are calm and can be ridden by a beginner in the horse riding thrill
• Horse Grooming – It sooths even the most hardened soul to just touch and groom this domineering animal, watch it calm down and enjoy the treat. Children never get enough of this therapeutic exercise.
• Bird Feeding – We have a gigantic bird cage. A home to over 7 species of birds. Guests have a chance to feed the birds, with a guide as well as watch them flap their wings in their beautifully appointed pool inside the cage.
• Cycling Excursion – Hop into one of our bikes and take a ride around the expansive Maiyan grounds. Did you know that this beautiful gem sits on 146acres o land? How about challenging your guide to cycle in most if not the whole of this expansive land?
• Jogging Tracks – Take a jog around our 5KM jogging track. Your run will be punctuated by the uninterrupted views of Mt. Kenya, horses galloping by the side track, geese crossing the road, mowing of the Maiyan cattle and chipping of the birds. Soak in the morning sun or the rays of the African sunset as you jog
